I have to report about the unfortunate events of Black Friday. As many holiday shoppers were taking advantage of the sales this past Friday, things got out of hand and a 34-year-old walmart employee, Jdimytai Damour, lost his life. He was trampled after the doors apparently didn't open up fast enough. It is sad to think that we as a people care more about spending money and getting what we want that we will cause a man to loose his life so that we may spend money that, we shouldn't really be spending in the first place.
At this time, before we enter in to Christmastime, we need to reflect upon the things we though and said on Thanksgiving day, and actually try to be better people, and show folks in our lives that we love them everyday, and not just on Thanksgiving, when we feel obligated to say so.
So I sign off by saying live life the way you want to, love the people you want to, and laugh often.
